I work in a fortune 500 company i have been recently given a new task of launching a new product how to do the presentation fo the product to the bosses
In any presentation you should consider what your audience, “the bosses” want and need to hear.
Details will vary depending on the product and the intended customers.
Some basics that tend to be important for all products:
* Why will customers buy the product? (What does the product do? Why do people want it?)
* What are the competitive products? Why will your product beat the competition?
* How will your product make it to the marketplace? What volumes are expected?
* What is the price of the product? How much will it cost to make the product?
Good luck!

Hi Is there any Softwares used to maintain/track product launch activities. Can you please suggest the names of vendors or sellers?

Monster® Partners with Simplay Labs in an HDMI Educational Campaign
Companies announce a strategic marketing and R&D partnership to clear up confusion surrounding HDMI
BRISBANE, Calif., July 10, 2007 – Monster®, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-end cables, accessories, and power conditioning products, is proud to announce it has launched a strategic partnership with Simplay Labs to help educate retailers and consumers on the importance of higher performance standards set for HDMI certification.
“Consumers need to have confidence in what they buy,” said The Head Monster, Noel Lee. “Currently, there’s a lot of mis-information about HDMI, It’s confusing for a consumer to know which cable will work with not only current products, but also future generations of products.”
This partnership will include an educational initiative, including Monster’s support of Simplay Labs in trainings to the sales floor, a new line of Simplay HD verified HDMI cables from Monster, and a higher performance cable verification program that is currently in development by Simplay Labs.
“We always strive to build our cables above and beyond current specifications,” Lee added, “with Simplay HD’s strict testing and verification standards, consumers can understand the various levels of HDMI cable performance and select the right cables for their application.”
“The Simplay HD Testing Program verifies high definition components and cables for HDMI interoperability and connectivity,” explained Joseph Lias, President of Simplay Labs. “As a result, consumers can be confident when they see the Simplay HD logo, that their HD components and cables will perform as claimed and work together seamlessly. This is an outstanding opportunity for Simplay Labs and Monster to educate both retailers and consumers there are differences in cable designs, with high-performance cables going above and beyond the HDMI specification.”
Monster cables are basically the same thing the cheap cables are. c|Net has a great article on how they are a rip off.
